Partial Closure of Midrand N1 Due to Overturned Truck

The Midrand N1 is experiencing partial closure following an overturned truck early this morning, causing severe traffic congestion. Jacaranda FM reports that Gauteng Traffic Police have advised motorists heading to Pretoria to seek alternative routes through Midrand. According to Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa, three lanes have been closed, and officials anticipate the partial closure will last several hours.

Sibasa urged motorists to remain patient and considerate during this period and recommended alternative routes for those travelling to Pretoria. Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries have been reported regarding the incident.
