36-Year-Old SA Actor Bradley Olivier’s Passing Confirmed by Family

Bradley Olivier passed away on 20 July

The devastated family of the much-loved Binnelanders TV actor has confirmed that Bradley Olivier passed away on 20 July at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg. According to Algoa FM, The family’s statement to the media read: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Terence Olivier. Bradley died peacefully today, 20 July 2023, at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg.

“Although Bradley’s life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy. Bradley lit up every room he entered with his smile, laugh, and incredible personality.”

The official Binnelanders Instagram page announced on 19 July that Olivier had been admitted to the hospital on Monday, 17 July, and was on life support. The family extended their “deepest gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for Bradley during this challenging time.”

No cause of death has been announced, and the family has asked the public to resist speculation and grant them privacy as they grieve their loss.

Olivier is best known for his role as paramedic Danny Jantjies in Binnelanders, where he had been part of the cast on the kykNET soapie for at least eight years.
