A subway flooding incident that previously resulted in the death of a motorist reveals no additional fatalities. Search and recovery operations have concluded, with authorities confirming that the individual who perished in the flooded Stoffberg Avenue subway was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

As initially reported by the Brakpan Herald, heavy rainfall inundated the underpass on February 26. Reports suggest the victim attempted to navigate through the subway, leading to the vehicle’s submersion and subsequent drowning.
