Experts indicate that South Africa should expect a warmer winter due to the lingering effects of El Niño climate patterns. Jacaranda FM reports that El Niño brings higher temperatures and below-average rainfall during the season. It spans from November to April.

According to climate scientist Doctor Peter Johnston, temperatures are expected to be above average in certain areas, with minimal rainfall due to El Niño. While not every day or month will be warmer, predictions suggest that the cold season will likely be warmer overall.
