The stage was set aglow with excitement as the 45th annual Mister and Miss Benoni Pageant took place on August 20, showcasing the local beauties and gentlemen of the area.

The aha Kopanong Hotel and Conference Centre were filled with cheers from friends and family who gathered to support their favourite contestants. The esteemed judges diligently assessed the participants’ performances, including Sandor Dowling, Bradley Hunter, Motshidisi Tlaka, Connor Stuart, and Michael Fresh.

The contestants confidently strutted to the beat in sassy swimwear, letting their vibrant personalities shine. The second runner-up, Aidan Hassett, added a playful touch, donning sunglasses with the message “go scrolling” across the lenses, drawing laughter from the audience.

The atmosphere brimmed with anticipation following an intermission as the contestants graced the stage in elegant evening wear reminiscent of a Met gala.

The pivotal moment arrived as seven ladies and seven gentlemen advanced to the final round, facing rapid-fire questions from the judges. The finalists, including Lerato Tau, Carmen Speier, Kylie Turner, and more, showcased their wit and communication skills to make a lasting impression.
