Gupta allies Kamal Vasram and Saliesh Indurjeeth return to the Pretoria Regional Court today, facing fraud charges and contravention of various acts related to the Estina dairy farm project.

As per EWN, the trial commenced in March this year and focuses on a pasteurisation plant imported from India. Customs documents valued the plant at over R37.7 million, but investigations suggest an “excessively high” valuation.

The plant was invoiced by Gateway Limited, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, believed to be controlled by the Guptas.

The accused, Kamal Vasram and Saliesh Indurjeeth have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
