The trial of Sifiso Mkhwanazi continues. The accused of multiple murders and rapes progressed with the testimony of a sex worker whose friend was among the victims. Known as ‘Miss A’ to protect her identity, she recounted the events leading up to the disappearance of her friend, Joyce Moyo. As per Jacaranda FM, Mkhwanazi stands accused of targeting Zimbabwean sex workers, with six bodies found at his father’s workshop.

Miss A described how Moyo was last seen entering a car on 2 October 2022, never to return. She testified about her chilling encounter with the vehicle and seeing Moyo speaking to its occupant before disappearing. Moyo’s sister later identified Miss A as the last person to see her alive.

Miss A visited the crime scene after learning about the discovery of six bodies, where she recognised the car Moyo left in. Mkhwanazi confessed to strangling Moyo and five others, attributing his actions to revenge for a past arrest.

The trial continues as more details emerge about the horrific crimes allegedly committed by Mkhwanazi.
